In Catalina’s dressage and eventing blood we find many refining thoroughbred stars including Ladykiller. When the German Warmblood breeders in the 60s and 70s turned to the Thoroughbred for refinement and athleticism, there were a number of important stallions that played a key role in the shaping the modern sport horse:  none was more significant than Ladykiller xx.  Other refining influences in this bloodline are famous TBs  Pregel,  Cottage Son and  Marlon, who sired not only highly performed international showjumpers  but whose progeny won gold in dressage at the Summer Olympics in LA in 1970. In three-day eventing, the Marlon son Milano was the 1975 German National Three Day Event Champion and another son Madrigal won individual bronze and team silver medals at the Montreal Olympics. WG Catalina is fortunate to have two nicks to arguably the most influential of stallions in international warmblood breeding, the  refining Selle Francais, Cor de la Bryere.
